1. First make a button knot as a rose bud, the number of these made is to your preference.
Lucky Water Margin Chinese Knot Instructions

This is our first article with full instructions to create a chinese knot hanger. This knot is a base knot and is known by many names. I just call it the lucky water margin chinese knot as the bulky pear form reminds me of a water margin often used in chinese legends.
Naturally, it’s charm comes form the hanging flocks making it ideal to be used as a keychain, decoration or simply… just for fun.
Without further ado, the instructions:

Golden hoop chinese knot

The golden hoop knot is another base technique for creating chinese knots. It looks a lot like a number 8 knot.
Reverse number eight (8) knot
The 4th base technique for creating chinese knots. The reverse 8. It’s the same steps as the normal 8, but the direction of the thread is different, technique the same.
